Ingredients

4-serving
  1. 1/2 Kilogram fish
  2. 1 Cup Coconutgrated
  3. 2 Tablespoons chilly Powder
  4. 1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder
  5. 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric powder
  6. 4 shallots
  7. 4 Greenchillies splits
  8. 1 Tablespoon Gingerchopped
  9. 2 Tablespoons coconut oil
  10. 1 Sprig Curryleaves
  11. To Taste salt
  12. Pinch Fenugreek powder
  13. 1 tomato
  14. 2 Kokum
  15. 1 Cup water

Method

    Add Photo

    Clean the fish and cut into medium pieces.

    Grind coconut,chilly powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and shallots to a smooth paste by adding little water.

    Heat a mun chatty /earthernware.

    Add the above paste with ½ cup water,ginger,green chillies,salt and kokum.

    Bring to boil and cook in medium flame.Now add the fish and again cook of 6 -7 mints.

    Add the chopped tomato and a pich of fenugreek powder.

    Add curry leaves and oil just before switching the stove off.
