Garlic Broccoli Rabe
Description
Another garlicky vegetable recipe!

(2-3 servings)
broccoli rabe
1 bunch
1/4 cup
extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons
garlic (minced)
2 cloves
crushed red chili
one pinch
kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper
to taste
Pecorino Romano cheese
to taste

Trim 1/2 inch ends of the broccoli rabe then cut in half.

Oil in the large pan over medium heat, add rabe.

Add water then cover with a lid, cook 3-5 minutes.

Remove the lid, stir in the garlic, chili, salt and peppers

Cook until the stem gets tender but not mushy.

Sprinkle with grated Pecorino Romano cheese, and serve.

I like to keep some texture from the broccoli, so cook partially in the pan.
