Iceberg with Ham
Description
Italian ham and balsamic vinegar, they can't go wrong!

Iceberg lettuce
1 small or 1 medium half

Prosciutto de Parma
2-3 sliced

shallot (thinly sliced)
1 medium
fresh parsley (minced)

For the dressing
extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons
balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons
dijon mustard
1 teaspoon
maple syrup
1 teaspoon
sea salt
1/8 teaspoon or more to taste
freshly ground pepper
1/8 teaspoon or more to taste

In a large bowl, whisk in all the dressing ingredients.

Whisk until the oil emulsifies.
Set aside.

Add all the salad ingredients and toss well.

You can swap the maple syrup to honey or sugar, but if you use GOOD balsamic vinegar, you don't need to add anything!
