Scallion Saucy Piggy

Hints of lemon juice and garlic promises for another bowl!

thinly sliced pork belly or shoulder
1 lb
scallions (thinly sliced)

canola oil

For the sauce:
2 tablespoons
sake
2 tablespoons
chicken bouillon powder
2 teaspoons
kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon
garlic (grated)
2 cloves
1 tablespoon
toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon
potato starch
2 teaspoons
toasted sesame seeds
2 tablespoons
freshly ground black pepper

Combine all the sauce ingredients.

Slice the meat into bite sized pieces.

Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add meat and cook until almost heated through.

Use paper towels to let it absorb extra fat if needed.

Add sauce mix and bring it to a simmer.

Cook until the sauce thickens. Taste, adjust with salt.
