Chili Shrimp
Description
A tasty chili fish sauce with seafood!
材料
(3-4 servings)
shrimp
1/2 lb
yellow or Vidalia onion (angled)
1/2 medium
red bell pepper (chopped)
1/2 medium
yellow bell pepper (chopped)
1/2 medium
bamboo
1/2 cup
mushrooms (sliced)
4-5
scallions (finely chopped)
2
garlic (minced)
2 cloves

crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon

for real kick...
serrano pepper (thinly sliced)

canola oil
1 tablespoon + 1tablespoon

for the sauce:
fish sauce
2 tablespoons
lime juice
1 tablespoon
light brown sugar
1 teaspoon
sea salt
1/8 teaspoon or more to taste

Gather all the ingredients.

Combine all the sauce ingredients. Set aside.

Oil in a wok over medium heat, add shrimp.

Cook until almost heated. Remove from wok, then set aside.

Add oil and heat to medium. Add garlic and pepper.

Cook until fragrant. Add the rest of the ingredients.

Cook until onion gets translucent.

Add shrimp and sauce and toss well.

Taste, adjust seasoning with 1/8 tsp of salt or more.

Cook shrimp separately to avoid over cooking it and to keep a tender texture.
