Pepper Sauté
Description
A colorful pepper sauté that's set alongside any dish!
材料
(4-5 servings)
red bell pepper (cut into 1/2" wide strips)
2 large
yellow bell pepper (cut into 1/2" wide strips)
2 large
garlic (minced)
2 cloves
crushed red pepper
one pinch
fresh Italian parsley (roughly minced)
2 tablespoons
extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons
red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon
kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon or more to taste
freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon or more to taste
cane sugar
1/2 teaspoon

Gather all the ingredients.

Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic/pepper.

Cook until fragrant. Add peppers. Cook 2-3 minutes.

Add vinegar/salt/pepper/sugar. Cook until sauce cooks off.

Turn off the heat and add parsley.

Toss once more and serve.

A little bit of sugar helps to cut off the edge of the vinegar and balance the flavor.

I got long, funky shaped red and yellow peppers from my farmer friend, so I decided to make a simple sauté for those :-)
