Leave the eggs and butter in room temperature.

Center a rack in the oven and preheat to 350F.

Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

Whisk flour, baking soda/powder and salt in a medium bowl.

In a large bowl, add butter and beat until soft and creamy.

Add 1/3 of the sugar, then beat until combined.

Repeat twice more until light and fluffy.

Add eggs and vanilla and whisk until combined.

Switch to a rubber spatula and add the dry ingredients.

Mix until just about combined.

Add the chocolate chips and mix until just about combined.

Drop 3 tbs of balls of dough at a time onto the pan.

NOTE: This leaves space for the cookies to spread out.

Bake the cookies one sheet at a time.

Rotate the pan once during baking to evenly make it browned.

Bake the cookies until the edges are just turning golden →
