Description

Loaded vegetables with a thick savory sauce!

材料 (2-3 servings)

shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1/2 lb
napa cabbage (stem chopped into 1" wide pieces, leaves are chopped into bite size pieces)
250-300 g
red bell pepper (chopped into bite sized pieces)
1 medium
snow peas
1 cup
bean sprout
one handful
ginger (minced)
2 teaspoons
 
toasted sesame oil
2 tablespoons+1 tablespoon
 
for the sauce:
2 cups
chicken bouillon powder
2 teaspoons
sake
2 tablespoons
mirin
2 tablespoons
Chinese light soy sauce
2 tablespoons
oyster sauce
1/2 tablespoon
 
kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon or more to taste
ground white pepper
1/8 teaspoon or more to taste
 
potato starch
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
 
udon noodle
2-3 servings

    Gather all the ingredients.

    Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

    Add ginger and cook until fragrant.

    Add shrimp and cook until almost heated through.

    Add stem/pepper/peas and cook until heated through.

    Add all the sauce ingredients and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until veggies get tender.

    Stir in leaves and cook until heated through.

    Stir in bean sprouts and cook until heated through.

    Taste, season with salt and pepper.

    Combine starch and water and stir in a skillet.

    Bring to a boil again, drizzle over the oil, lower the heat.

    Cook your udon according to your package instructions.

    Drain, put into a bowl, pour the ankake over the udon, serve
