Breakfast Sausage
Description
Make your own breakfast sausage, egg, and muffin sandwiches!

(4 servings)
ground pork
1 lb
kosher salt
1 teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon
onion powder
1/2 teaspoon
dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon
dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon
dried ground sage
1/2 teaspoon
ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon
light brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon
canola oil
1 tablespoon

English muffins
■
sliced cheddar cheese
■
whole egg or egg white

Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Use your hands to mix it really well.

Cover with a plastic wrap and chill for 1hr in a fridge.

Shape into 4 patties.

NOTE: Make the patties larger than the muffins.

The patties will shrink while cooking.

Oil in a large nonstick pan over medium low heat.

Add patties and cook until bottoms are browned.

Flip and cook the other side until browned. (10-15 mins)

Assemble your own breakfast sausage muffins!
