Description

Philly cheesesteak-style shredded beef sandwiches!

材料 (2 servings)

shredded beef (recipe ID7455942)
as desired
 
red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
1/2 medium
yellow or sweet onion (thinly sliced)
1/2 medium
 
extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon
kosher salt
to taste
freshly ground black pepper
to taste
 
provolone cheese
2 slices
 
brioche hamburger buns
2
unsalted butter
1 tablespoon
 
mayonnaise
to taste

作り方

    Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

    Add pepper and onion and cook until tender.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Heat to low, stir in beef and cook until the meat is warm.

    Turn off the heat, place the cheese on top.

    Cover the pan to allow the cheese to melt.

    Once the cheese has melted, stir to mix everything.

    Transfer to a heat safe bowl, and cover with aluminum foil.

    Wipe out the pan, and heat to medium. Add butter.

    Toast the insides of the buns until golden brown.

    Assemble sandwiches: Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise.

    Place the meat and veggie mix on top, then serve!

コツ・ポイント

Cook veggies and meat separately to avoid overcooking the meat.

Philly cheesesteaks use thinly sliced beef, but since we have our own shredded beef, we can use it and it works well :-)
