Description

The best and tastiest use for leftover egg whites!

材料

unsalted butter (leave it at room temperature)
100 g
cane sugar
100 g
 
cake flour (shifted)
100 g
fine sea salt
one pinch
 
from 3 large eggs (100 g)
 
pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon

    Center a rack in the oven and preheat to 350F.

    Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

    Combine the flour and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

    In a large bowl, add butter and beat until soft and creamy.

    Add 1/2 of the sugar, then beat until combined.

    Repeat once more until light and fluffy.

    Add one egg white at a time. Beat until combined.

    Repeat until all the egg white is used up. Whisk in vanilla.

    Gradually add the flour mixture. Mix until combined.

    Spoon batter into a piping bag fitted with a round tip.

    Pipe the batter onto the baking sheet in 1 1/2' circles.

    Leave enough space between the cookies.

    Bake 10-12 mins or until the edges are golden brown.

    Lift the entire sheet from the tray to cool it completely.

    NOTE: Langues de Chat means "cat's tongue" in French. →

    They're usually piped in 3" lines (it looks like a tongue) →

    but they can be any shape, and sandwiched with cream!
