Gather all the ingredients.

Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside

Place tofu and potato starch into a small zip-top bag.

Seal it. Shake it well to coat the tofu with potato starch

Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place tofu.

Cook all sides of the tofu until lightly golden and crispy.

Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Over medium heat, add garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add peppers/ onions. Cook until the onions get wilted.

Add cooked tofu and the sauce mix, and toss to combine.
