Buttercream Frosting
Description
This basic frosting is versatile with any color and flavor!

unsalted butter (at room temperature)
2 sticks
confectioner sugar (shifted if lumpy)
400 g
fine sea salt
1/8 teaspoon
pure vanilla extract
2 teaspoons
heavy cream (at room temperature)
2-4 tablespoons

Place butter in a large bowl.

Beat the butter until creamy.

Add half of the sugar, then gently beat it.

Add remaining sugar and beat until combined.

Add salt, vanilla,
and heavy cream.

NOTE: 1 tbs cream at a time to control the consistency.

Beat until the frosting starts to be light and fluffy.

You can use it as a base or add color/flavor to the frosting

You can freeze your frosting in an airtight freezer bag. Before using it, thaw in a fridge, then give it a quick whip!
