Description

Imagine having nice Italian dishes along with this salad!

材料 (4-6 servings)

extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup
garlic (minced)
2 cloves
crispy bacon bits ID : 7198390
1/8 cup
 
For the dressing:
red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons
honey
1 tablespoon
dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon
kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
 
shallot (thinly sliced)
1 medium
red bell pepper (julienne)
1/2 medium
baby spinach or baby arugula or both

    Place shallots, pepper, spinach/arugula into a large bowl.

    in a small heat safe bowl, add all the dressing ingredients.

    Whisk until combined, set aside.

    Oil in small skillet over medium heat, add garlic and bits.

    Cook until the garlic gets slightly golden.

    Pour into a heat safe bowl, then whisk to combine.

    Taste, add salt and pepper as needed.

    Pour the dressing over the veggies then toss to combine.

Making bacon bits in advance helps to cut off grease from the bacon, but you can have a savory flavor from the dressing.
